Samsung rolls out SMT-S7800 Freesat DVR in UK

Samsung has released a set-top box in UK capable of recording Freesat video content. The SMT-S7800 integrates a 3.5-inch 500GB hard drive that allows users to record up to 120 hours of HD or 250 hours of SD content.

Additionally, the device has twin tuner enabling users to watch one channel while record another, 8-day Electronic Programme Guide, YouTube and BBC iPlayer support, DLNA, HDMI 1.3, Wi-Fi support via USB dongle and Ethernet connectivity.

Samsung will sell the box for a price of around 300 pounds.
