Samsung’s Galaxy S 4G won the Best in Show award at the recently concluded CTIA 2011 expo. The CTIA wireless association announced the Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards winners where Galaxy S 4G was awarded on the basis of the most text votes received during the show.

Galaxy S 4G is similar to T-Mobile’s Galaxy S but supports data transfers to up to 21Mbps. Other features include 1GHz processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 2.2 OS, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, preinstalled 16GB microSD card slot and 1650 mAh battery.

Samsung’s 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot also won the third spot under the mobile consumer electronics accessories category.
