Samsung’s QWERTY TV remote control for Smart TV has been announced for the South Korean market. Compatible with the latest range of Smart TVs, the new remote can be used with TVs to search, tweet etc.
The remote is a dual-sided one with one side featuring regular remote controls while the other is equipped with QWERTY keyboard and a small LCD screen. Samsung says when the keys of one side are used, the other side is automatically disabled so as to avoid hitting keys accidentally.
The QWERTY TV remote control will sell for 99,000 won (US$89).
