Galaxy S II releasing in May in Russia

Samsung has just announced the availability of Galaxy S II for the Russian region. Beginning May 18, consumers in Russia will be able to buy the Galaxy S II (GT-I9100). The Android 2.3 running phone has been confirmed to use Samsung’s own Exynos 1.2GHz dual-core CPU and features HSPA+ 21Mbps support, 4.27-inch Super AMOLED Plus WVGA display, 8MP camera with full HD video recording and playback, 2MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct support, Bluetooth 3.0, 16 or 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot, DLNA, MHL (Mobile Hi-Definition Link) and 1650mAh battery.

16GB Galaxy S II will sell for 29,990 rubles or around US$1060.

    any word on when the phone will release in India ? There have been rumors of release on 23rd April or 1st May. any truth in that ?
