Samsung outlined their regional strategy as well as showcased their 2011 lineup at the recently concluded South West Asia Forum. South West Asia is one of the most important regions for Samsung and is clearly evident from the operatorions from last year that garnered a 60 percent growth and contributed US$3.5 billion out of company’s US$135.8 billion in global revenues, most successful in Samsung’s history.
This is a region of tremendous growth and potential for Samsung Electronics. We have the potential to reach No. 1 market share in numerous categories while strengthening our partner and channel relationships, particularly in a country like India where markets are maturing and the potential for growth is unlimited.
