Samsung’s 4G LTE phone for Verizon that was unveiled at the CES has finally got a price and a release date. Droid Charge – as it’s called – will be available across United States from April 28 carrying a price tag of $299.99 on a two-year contract.
In addition to giving consumers download/upload speeds of up to 12/5Mbps respectively, the phone also features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.2 OS, 1GHz CPU, 8MP camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, Samsung Media Hub service, Swype keyboard and mobile hotspot functionality that allows the phone’s 4G/3G connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
