This is the first time Samsung’s device has gone on sale on three South Korean operators at the same time and if initial numbers are any indication, Samsung’s Galaxy S II is enjoying a very good response. Chosun reports that three mobile operators – SK Telecom, LG U+ and KT have cumulatively received pre-orders of more than 200,000 Galaxy S II units.
SK Telecom is the biggest gainer who received pre-orders of more than 160,000 units in a period of just five days. If we translate, that’s one Galaxy S II in every two seconds. LG U+ confirmed that they received pre-orders for more than 30,000 units. KT didn’t divulge the figures but it is believed their orders have taken the total count in excess of 200,000 units.
Samsung earlier estimated to sell over 10m Galaxy S II units by end of this year.

Look closer at these pictures ! Main Camera is different from Galaxy S2 and front-facing camera is more left to the edge than it is on S2. Is this the Galaxy S2 Mini ???

It’s the Korean variant of Galaxy S II

I don’t think so. The flash is at the bottom of the lense, not on the right side and the pattern on the back is all over. Just compare yourself the pictures on the korean samsung-homepage.

That’s a difference between the LG U+ Galaxy S II (pictured above) and SK Telecom and KT models

Also, the button for Stand-By is placed a bit higher. It seems to be a slightly shrunken S2. If the specs would not differ that much it would be the perfect device for me – the S2 is fantastic, but too big in my eyes.
