As expected, Samsung’s Chromebook has gone official at the Google I/O today. Powered by Chrome OS, the Series 5 Chromebook will be available for purchase from June 15 with a starting price of $429 or $70 more for the 3G variant.
For the price, you’d get a 12.1-inch screen with 1280×800 display and 300 nits of brightness, Intel dual-core Atom processor, Wi-Fi, 3G support, HD webcam, USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader, a mini-VGA port, fully clickable trackpad and 8.5 hours of battery life.
