Samsung’s Display receives Best in Show Award at the SID Display Week 2011

Society for Information Display Names awarded best display technologies at the Display Week 2011 yesterday and one of Samsung displays managed to grab the ‘Best in Show’ award. The Korean giant received the award in the large exhibit category for showcasing the world’s first prototype of 70-inch ultra-definition 3D panel.

The display uses oxide semiconductor technology and allows 3D content up to a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels with 240Hz refresh rate.
