Apple and Samsung are apparently in talks for a settlement related to the patent lawsuits. At a hearing on June 17, Judge Lucy Koh asked if both companies can “get along” with resolution outside of court, to which Apple’s lawyer Harold McElhinny replied that the ”executives at the highest levels” are meeting and talking.
Both companies are embroiled in a major patent lawsuit where Apple alleges that Samsung’s Galaxy range of devices copy iPhone and iPad’s design, software elements and even packaging.
