Migrating data from one storage disk to another could be a time consuming task but Samsung wants to make it easier and faster with the new upgrade kit announced for its 470 Series SSD. Samsung will now bundle a copy of Norton Ghost 15 that will allow users to easily backup their data and restore it onto the new SSD. Additionally, Samsung will also provide a bracket and a connection cable that can be used when connecting the new SSD in a desktop PC.
Samsung announced the 470 Series SSD in South Korea in January and has been enjoying steady sales. Samsung managed to sell more than 10,000 units of the SSD in the first two months of its launch.
