Samsung may surpass Apple and Nokia smartphone sales for Q2 2011

Research firm, Strategy Analytics reckons that Samsung may have managed to beat Nokia and Apple smartphone sales for the last quarter. Samsung’s estimated sales is in between 18 to 21 million handsets compared to Nokia’s 16.7 million and Apple’s 20.3 million.

Such strong figures are expected due to the excellent sales of Galaxy devices, especially Galaxy S II.

Expectedly, Samsung hasn’t confirmed these figures but we can expect them to surprise us when they announce their Q2 results this Friday.
