Samsung has confirmed to cut 10% of the senior executive jobs at its LCD panel division. Samsung recently combined its LCD and semiconductor business due to the mounting losses and with the latest move, Samsung reckons it will help the company “strengthen” its competitiveness.
10 jobs have been confirmed to be eliminated but the affected executives will be absorbed in the organization in some other role.
Samsung is the world’s largest LCD maker by sales volume.
