Samsung’s Lee Jae-yong to visit Steve Jobs’ memorial service

October 16, 2011 By kunal 1 Comment

Samsung Electronics’ President, Lee Jae-yong (right) will attend Steve Jobs memorial service at Standford University today. Reuters reports that Lee Jae-yong, son of Samsung’s chairman Lee Kun-hee will attend the invitation-only service and will apparently sit down with Apple’s CEO Tim Cook in a separate meeting.

While the meeting with Cook is unconfirmed, the meeting, if it happens, will undoubtedly discuss the ongoing legal tussle between both the companies and possible solutions.

Apple plans to hold an invitation-only memorial service for Jobs apart from an employee event. Samsung’s president Lee Jae-yong plans to attend the service to offer condolence to Jobs
