Not a surprise considering Galaxy S II is Samsung’s flagship device but if you were looking for some confirmation, Samsung UK on their Twitter account has explicitly confirmed the same. Galaxy S II is slated to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update but there’s no info as to when it will be released. This of course, relates to the international version (I9100) of Galaxy S II and US-based variants might have to wait little longer.
Our guess is in the first quarter of the next year.

Meanwhile over a millions for the Galaxy S phone still languish with Froyo…
Samsung phone are pretty cool, but their complete lack of support is a deal-buster. Next phone is going to be an HTC.
