Samsung’s first Android OS-based Google TV is still a few months away, Samsung executive has confirmed. BK Yoon, President of Samsung TV division has confirmed that they’re currently working with Google to roll out the Google TV at an event next year.
Yoon did not say the exact release time frame but it wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung decided to launch it at the CES expo in January considering Samsung showed a Blu-ray and a companion box supporting Google TV platform at this year’s CES.
Yoon also confirmed to differentiate the Samsung Google TV offering from competitors but did not elaborate further.
