Samsung has expanded its patent infringement claims against Apple in Germany. The Korean company has added four new complaints related to standards and utility patents which also includes the use of emoticons.
The court will make these claims separate from the lawsuit filed in April.
Meanwhile, Samsung has also decided to not require a ruling with respect to a product using Qualcomm baseband chip – used by iPhone 4S.
