Samsung to launch 4G WiMAX-equipped notebooks in South Korea

Samsung will be offering notebooks integrated with 4G WiMAX (known as WiBro) in South Korea. Samsung says new models will enable users to enjoy 4G WiBro services nationwide with KT who’ll offer plans at various price points.

Developed closely with Intel and KT, Samsung will offer 5 models with integrated 4G WiBro, including Slate PC Series 7, Series 3 300V, Series 3 350U, Series 3 300E and RC530.

The 4G WiBro notebooks will go on sale from tomorrow.
