CES 2012 is officially underway and Samsung marked the opening with two surveillance products. Both Wi-Fi IP SmartCam and Wi-Fi Video Baby Monitor come with Wi-Fi which can be configured with the user’s wireless settings in under a minute.

Users then need to register the camera on Samsung’s camera website, which will enable viewing of live footage on user’s PC or mobile devices with the help of apps.

Additionally, both cameras are equipped with embedded mic and speakers, non-visible infrared LEDs to allow viewing in the dark and ability to upload video on YouTube if a motion is detected.

SmartCam and Baby Video Monitor will sell from March 2012 for $149.99.
