Samsung has announced new models in its successful Star range. Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS phones are touted to bring social networking experiences to feature phones along with an affordable price.
Apart from the dual-SIM functionality Star 3 DUOS boasts, both models are virtually the same. The phones come with only EDGE support and feature a 3-inch QVGA TFT LCD, 3.2MP camera with video recording support, TouchWiz Lite UI, music player with SoundAlive, 3.5mm headphone jack, Stereo FM with RDS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, ChatON mobile messenger, microSD card slot (up to 16GB) and 1000mAh battery. Star 3 weighs just 95g and measures 58 x 102 x 11.5 mm.
Both devices will be available in late January in Russia and will be rolled out in other regions like CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia. Star 3 DUOS will be available in Southwest Asia as well.
