German court rejects Samsung’s patent infringement claim against Apple

January 20, 2012 By kunal Leave a Comment

German court today rejected Samsung’s patent infringement claim against Apple. The ruling by the court covers one patent infringement claim out of the seven filed by Samsung in Germany and is related to wireless communication standard.

Foss Patents notes the ruling did not include any reasoning but could be based on FRAND terms.

Samsung is understandably dejected who issued a statement saying they were “disappointed” with the court’s decision.

Samsung has reportedly spent $60 million on Apple-related lawsuits.
