U.S. Cellular to launch Galaxy S II

Galaxy S II on U.S. Cellular

 

Another operator in United States will launch Samsung’s Galaxy S II smartphone. U.S. Cellular has confirmed to release the device but will slightly differ in design and specs compared to other American variants. The Galaxy S II on U.S. Cellular will come with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display and feature a 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos C210 processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.

The phone runs on Android 2.3 OS and sports an 8MP camera Wi-Fi and 3G support, Bluetooth, DLNA and more.

U.S. Cellular hasn’t fixed a release date yet but is priced at $229.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract.
