Samsung has partnered with Qualcomm to deliver secure HD content to devices using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. The secure HD content will take advantage of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon StudioAccess and ARM’s TrustZone technologies and will be delivered via Samsung’s Media Hub.
Media Hub is a service that allows users to rent or purchase movies and TV shows directly on their phone.
The first device to get this HD content will be Samsung’s Galaxy Note which will support the service after a firmware update. For now, Samsung is showcasing the technology at MWC.
Samsung is excited to pioneer the mobile HD display revolution using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor along with ARM’s Trustzone technology. This combination will enable Samsung Media Hub consumers to have an HD viewing experience right in the palm of their hand
