Samsung India has expanded its Galaxy smartphones lineup with the introduction of Galaxy S Advance and Galaxy Pocket. Galaxy S Advance goes for the higher-end of the market and features Android 2.3 OS, 4-inch (480×800) WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 14.4Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, ChatON, A-GPS, 768MB of RAM, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording and playback, Allshare, FM Radio, microSD card slot and 1500mAh battery. Its priced at Rs. 26,900.
Galaxy Pocket on the other hand goes for the entry-level smartphone market that has an asking price of just Rs. 8,150. The 11.9mm phone also runs Android 2.3 OS, is powered by an 832MHz processor and comes with a 2.8-inch display, 3G support, Wi-Fi, 3GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 2MP camera and 1200mAh battery.
