Samsung wins Golden Peacock award for Samsung Hope Project

April 26, 2012 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung today confirmed that they’ve been given the Golden Peacock award for their CSR initiatives with respect to the Samsung Hope Project. Although the project is a global initiative, it reached India earlier this year with an aim to provide quality education to underprivileged children with the help of modern teaching methods and available technology.

Samsung won the Golden Peacock award last year as well for their eco-innovation with the Series 9 notebook.

We are proud to receive the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for our CSR program, Samsung Hope Project for the second consecutive year. At Samsung, we are committed to giving back to the community and our projects in the areas of education, culture, sports and community development are aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of the beneficiaries.
