Samsung India to skip Galaxy Nexus, tells to wait for the next Galaxy

May 2, 2012 By kunal 3 Comments

Last time we heard Samsung was supposed to launch the Galaxy Nexus in India but according to a tweet by Samsung India that won’t be the case. Answering a consumer query, Samsung India confirmed that the Nexus device with stock Android OS won’t make it to Indian shores. In fact, Samsung asks to “watch the space for the next big thing,” which is undoubtedly the Galaxy S III.

As much as we’re excited for the new device, it’s disappointing to see that Indian users won’t be able to enjoy the Galaxy Nexus. At least, officially!

Thanks, Shadez!

This is a big shame. Many people don’t want the stupid TouchWiz enabled Galaxy S3 and were waiting for the stock Android experience. Turns out Samsung is a messed up company and will do anything to make sure their Galaxy S series keeps selling.. Idiots..

Waited, waited and waited some more and it never came. Samsung had messed up the SAMOLED screen on the Nexus hence, was reluctant to pick up one in the grey market. Good luck waiting for Jelly Bean upgrade Galaxy SIII owners. Pissed…

I was reluctant as well but bought it. And after a day of use you get used to the screen. not to mention custom kernels fixed it, but that isn’t for the normal users who don’t do all the hacking and modding stuff. In short, great device, glad i bought it without waiting. And at 25k, it’s a great phone.
