Samsung’s Android media player lineup in South Korea has got a new addition in the form of Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1). The PMP that was announced at the MWC in February is now available in Samsung’s domestic market in 8GB and 16GB storage capacities.
Clad in milky white hue, the 8.99mm Galaxy Player 4.2 features a 4.2-inch WVGA IPS TFT display, 2MP main and VGA front-facing camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, stereo speakers, 1500mAh battery.
On the software front, the device is based on Android 2.3 OS and comes pre-loaded with e-learning content, FIFA 2012 and NFS: Hot Pursuit games, Kakao Talk messaging service, AllShare and SoundAlive audio enhancing technology.
The 8GB Galaxy Player 4.2 is priced at 269,000 won whereas the 16GB variant goes for 299,000 won.
