Samsung has started releasing its Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 media player in different markets and the latest in line is Germany. The Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 (aka Galaxy Player 4.2) is based on Android 2.3 OS and targets users who need a media player along with decent gaming prowess.
The player comes with a 4.2-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor, 2MP rear-facing and front-facing VGA camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, dual front-facing stereo speakers and 1500mAh battery that promises to give up to 40 hours of audio playback.
The Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 will be pre-loaded with two EA games – NFS: Hot Pursuit and FIFA 2012 and will also have Google Play Store access for more apps. It will also feature the Samsung SmartView app that allows to transmit content from the Samsung Smart TV to the player.
The Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 will sell for 189 euros in color choices of white and black (which will be available soon).
