Samsung sees high demand for Flexible Displays

Samsung is yet to start mass production of its flexible displays but the Korean company is already seeing a positive response from its customers. According to Samsung Electronics’ Vice Chairman, Kwon Oh-hyun, they’re getting “huge” orders for the next-generation bendable and unbreakable displays.

While Samsung hasn’t revealed the clients they’re receiving orders from, Korea Times speculates Apple could be the biggest buyer of this new display tech.

Samsung expects to manufacture up to 960,000 OLED flexible display sheets by end of this year.
