Samsung today unveiled its high-end SB970 LED monitor for the Korean market. This Series 9 monitor was announced at CES earlier this year and is aimed at professionals and consumers who want individual calibration for professional-like picture quality. The 27-inch monitor boasts a PLS (Plane Line Switching) panel that gives a wide viewing angle of up to 178 degrees, QHD (Quad High-Definition) resolution support up to 2560×1440 pixels, integrated speakers and MHL support.
Samsung says the monitor’s design is inspired from “modern architecture” that features a Crystal Clear Glass design with minimal bezel and height adjustable stand.
Samsung will sell the SB970 for 1,390,000 won (US$1194).
