It has been a long wait but here it is finally. Samsung India has released the Ice Cream Sandwich update for users using any of the Galaxy S II variants – I9100 and I9100G. As revealed by SamMobile and Samsung Updates, the I9100G build is XXLPQ whereas the I9100 is based on XWLP7.
The firmware upgrade will bring in improved performance, Face Unlock, improved multi tasking and more.
Users can update the phone over-the-air or update via Kies.
