Samsung Electronics today confirmed that Kwon Oh-hyun has been named as the new CEO and will handle all corporate-wide affairs. Kwon who headed the components business will still be in charge whereas the current CEO, Choi Gee-sung will move towards to head the Samsung Group Corporate Strategy Office.
The change in helm will have little impact on the company’s key businesses as BK Yoon and JK Shin will still head the Consumer Division and IT & Mobile business respectively.
