Apple yesterday revealed their intentions to seek a ban on the Galaxy S III sales in the United States and now Samsung has responded by saying that they’ll “vigorously oppose the request.”

Samsung says Apple’s request is “without merit” and will proceed to launch the device in the American market as planned.

Samsung recently announced to launch the Galaxy S III in United States on five carriers beginning from late June.
