Samsung to setup a new line to produce mobile application processors

Samsung has announced to invest in a new fabrication line in Hwaseong, South Korea. The new fabrication line will produce mobile application processors on 300mm wafer using 20nm and 14nm process, which Samsung expects to cater to the burgeoning demand of the chips.

Samsung will invest a total of 2.25 trillion won and expects to complete the construction of the line by end of 2013.
