Galaxy S III explodes, Samsung is looking into the incident

June 21, 2012 By kunal Leave a Comment

The image above is the unfortunate outcome of an overheated Galaxy S III. While the user came out unscathed in the incident, the user witnessed white flames and sparks coming out of the phone, ultimately burning and melting the plastic of the phone.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact cause of the phone’s explosion but promised to look into it and update with more details in the days to come.

As for the user, Carphone Warehouse denied a replacement but Samsung came to the rescue by delivering a replacement device and more “free stuff.”
