Given the success of Samsung’s maiden phablet, it makes sense for the Korean company to work on its successor. A tweet by Samsung Arabia recently fueled the Galaxy Note 2 rumors and now GSM Arena has heard some features of the upcoming phablet device from their source.
Apparently, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 will take some design inspiration from Galaxy S III and will feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display. Despite a tad larger display, the site says Samsung managed to reduce the width of the Galaxy Note 2 when compared to the original Galaxy Note. As for other features, it is rumored to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5250 SoC, 2GB RAM and 8MP camera.
Samsung is looking to release the Galaxy Note 2 in September in an attempt to one up Apple’s iPhone 5 that is rumored to go on sale in October.
