Galaxy S III users in UK and India today have started receiving notification for an over-the-air firmware update. Although the update claims to improve stability with most changes under the hood, one visual change is the introduction of the display brightness slider in the notification area. Users can now adjust the brightness settings directly from the notification bar.
If you haven’t received a notification, you can manually check for an OTA update or connect to Kies.
