Google promised to release Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Nexus S in mid-July but didn’t confirm any definite date. Now Vodafone Australia on their official blog claims the Jelly Bean update for Samsung’s first Nexus phone has been approved by them and should be rolled out by Google from July 19 i.e. tomorrow.
Jelly Bean update will bring in improved and faster performance, expandable and actionable widget, search, Google Now etc.
The blog post also mentions Galaxy S users will receive Android 2.3.6 Value Pack from tomorrow.
