Samsung has joined hands with the official hotel provider – Holiday Inn London to bring a Smart Hotel Solution. Samsung will equip 40 rooms for VIPs with Galaxy S III (pre-installed with a custom app) that will allow guests to open their rooms with the phone and take control of their in-room amenities like TV sets, lighting, AC etc.
Samsung says the second phase of the installation will also enable guests to express check-in/out, use the device as an in-room phone extension to call room service, laundry and more.
Additionally, the app will also show Olympic Games-related information, results and location-based offers.
