Samsung Smart TVs now support the Verizon FiOS TV app that allows Smart TV owners to watch live TV without the need of a set-top box. All a user needs is a Verizon FiOS TV connection and the app on the TV and can watch up to 26 live channels and FlexView video-on-demand movies and TV shows.
The app is available for free from Samsung Smart Hub.
Samsung is offering similar apps with different service providers in Europe and Latin America.
