Samsung India has started taking pre-orders of Galaxy Note 10.1 aka Galaxy Note 8000 on their official online store. Although no sight of a fixed release date or price, interested users can pre-book the tablet by paying Rs. 2,000 upfront for a coupon, which will be mailed upon the device’s availability. Do note, the pre-order coupon is not refundable.
Users pre-booking the tablet will also receive a book cover worth Rs. 3,249 for free.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Android 4.0 and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and features 10.1-inch 1280×800 display, S Pen support, HSPA+ 21Mbps, 5MP main camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, various Hub support, Smart Stay, Pop Up Play and 7000mAh battery. Interestingly, the specs sheet on the store lists RAM as 1GB as opposed to 2GB mentioned in the official specs sheet.
UPDATE: Samsung has rectified it as 2GB.
