A new image and specs of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Player has been leaked. Identified as YP-GP1, the first time we heard about this PMP was when it trickled through the benchmark site last month. The device looks to be inspired from Samsung’s Galaxy S III curvy design and features loudspeakers on the bezel, akin to the previous Galaxy Players.
The PMP is decently spec’d with Android 4.0 onboard and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. Rounding up the specs sheet are 5.8-inch qHD (960×540) display, 3MP main camera with front-facing VGA camera, new TouchWiz UI, T-DMB, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot and 2500mAh battery.
There’s no word on the pricing or availability but we expect to hear about it more at the IFA later this month.
