Samsung had promised to release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Galaxy R but the Korean giant is yet to roll out the update. However, it seems the update should come anytime now as service centers in Sweden have started updating the phone to Android 4.0. One Swedish Galaxy R sent his phone for servicing and found the device to be running on Android 4.0.4.
Let’s hope the update is soon available on Kies as well.
