US Court Jury Finds Samsung to Infringe Apple Patents

Samsung received a huge blow yesterday as the US federal court jury found Samsung to infringe Apple patents. The jury after deliberating for over 21 hours reached to the conclusion that Samsung did infringe on the patents and have awarded Apple $1,049,343,540 in damages.

Samsung won’t receive any compensation as the jury didn’t find Apple to infringe any of Samsung’s wireless standard or utility patents.

Needless to say, Samsung is unhappy with the decision and has termed the decision as “a loss” for American consumers as it “will lead to lead to fewer choices, less innovation, and potentially higher prices.”

Samsung also confirmed to initiate necessary legal procedure to overturn the decision.

We will move immediately to file post-verdict motions to overturn this decision in this court and if we are not successful, we will appeal this decision to the Court of Appeal.

samsung company makes a micro chip for apple’s products like iphone and ipad. Apple’s products display screen type is from LG company and camera is from sony. Apple said samsung copied apple’s products. That’s B.S no matter what. Apple should bankrupt no matter what.
