Samsung ATIV Tab will run Windows RT

Samsung ATIV Tab

It seems Samsung has retired the Omnia moniker for its Windows Phone range with the new ATIV brand. We just got the glimpse of ATIV S, a 4.8-inch phone running Windows Phone 8 and now The Verge has also spilled the beans on ATIV Tab – a 10.1-inch tablet from Samsung running the ARM version of Windows dubbed as Windows RT.

The tablet is said to be 8.9mm thick, weigh 570g and feature a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 8MP and 1.9MP rear and front-facing cameras respectively, USB and HDMI port and pre-loaded Office Home and Student 2013.

The site reckons the ATIV range could get official at the IFA this week.
