Samsung Galaxy Camera

Samsung revealed its intentions of an Android-based camera when it applied for a trademark earlier this year. Now at the IFA in Berlin, Germany, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Camera powered by Android OS.

Unlike the competitive Android-based digital cameras, Samsung’s offering is the first camera to run Android 4.1 OS. The camera is packed with hardware features like 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, 21X optical zoom, 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD, 3G + Wi-Fi or 4G + Wi-Fi support, 1.4GHz quad-core CPU and photo enhancing improvements like Smart Pro, Rich Tone, Light Trace and more.
