Samsung SDI today announced that they’ll end the 4-year partnership with Germany-based Bosch due to the disagreement on the future strategy of the company, SB LiMotive. Samsung SDI has agreed to pay $95 million to buy the 50% stake from Bosch.

Samsung reckons having full control on the company will allow them to take faster decision and “generate synergies with its rechargeable battery business.”
