Samsung’s known for promoting its latest range of SSD with a game. They did it with their 830 Series SSDs by giving away Batman and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon games and the Korean manufacturer has announced to give away Assassin’s Creed III with purchase of select 840 Pro Series SSDs.
Users purchasing the 128GB, 256GB or the 512GB 840 Pro models will be eligible for a code, which they can redeem for a downloadable copy of the game.
The 840 Pro Series SSD supports SATA 6.0Gbps interface, 400 Mbps Toggle DDR2 flash memory, AES 256-bit encryption support, triple-core MDX controllers and random read speeds up to 530MB/s.
Samsung will also sell 840 Series SSD in 120GB, 250GB and 500GB.
