Samsung starts OS upgrades for Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi and Galaxy Tab 2 7”

Galaxy Tab 8.9 users in Malaysia can now update their tablets to Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich Android OS. The update is now available through Kies and OTA or if you want to flash the complete ROM, a downloadable copy is available from SamMobiles.

Meanwhile, Galaxy Tab 2 7” users in France can also update their devices to a new version of Android. The new build runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and is again available either on Kies or OTA.
