Samsung announces Smart TV IPTV solution for South Korea

December 6, 2012 By kunal 1 Comment

Samsung’s set-top box free Smart TV IPTV solution is available with TeliaSonera in Estonia but this is the first time Samsung has launched a similar solution for its domestic market. LG U+ IPTV subscribers will be the first recipients wherein they can download the LG U+ TV app on their 2012 Smart TV and enjoy up to 138 live channels and VOD content.

Furthermore, the remote control with Samsung Smart TV is compatible with LG U+’ IPTV service, thus removing the need to use an additional remote control, which is needed in case with a set-top box.
